My child is creative but doesn't like being told what to do.

I get it, creativity is a sensitive and personal exploration. I ask you to read the following to your young artist, "I am an artist first, educator second, I learned my skill by listening to other artists and trying unexpected materials and projects.  I am all for self motivated, self driven young artists that have ideas and a vision for a project. My goal is to foster that desire to create and try something different. No matter the age, 30min lessons are a great way to start and see if it's a fit." (please continue and read the following sentiments below.)

Willow Gentile statement

I ask all my students to be respectful of the space they are entering. I am a full time artist and you are entering my personal working studio.  I teach on the side. I do not tolerate students telling me how to teach or any language rooted in shaming.  If a situation should arise and does not resolve after being addressed the class will be canceled.
